The M E Grand Superintendent, E Comp James Sharpley, has been pleased to thank all those Companions who supported the Province and Companions by attending the Provincial Annual Convocation which was held at Freemasons Hall, Great Queen Street, London on the aforementioned date. It was a memorable and most enjoyable occasion when 448 Companions were in attendance in the Grand Temple and 271 dined in the Grand Connaught Rooms afterwards. Six Grand Superintendents of neighbouring Provinces were in attendance along with many other distinguished guests. It proved to be an excellent occasion and a most enjoyable dinner.
After the convocation, the Provincial Grand Scribe E, E Comp John Linley received many letters of commendation and thanks and some comments are contained below:
“….You, and all the team are to be congratulated on the organisation of the day, which was very well managed and the meeting was most impressive! Please give our best wishes to all the Companions of Hertfordshire.”
Nick B. Le-Grys, Provincial Grand Scribe E, Suffolk
” ….Thoroughly enjoyable and a super performance all round particularly from the Grand Superintendent.”
Bill Dastur, Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Cambridgeshire
” …..It was a most enjoyable occasion and it was obvious that a lot of work had gone into making it the success it undoubtedly was. The precision of the work performed by the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies and his team was truly amazing and the grandeur of the setting only served to enhance a memorable experience. The atmosphere, both during the Convocation and at dinner afterwards, demonstrated what a happy Province Hertfordshire is.”
David Workman, 3rd Provincial Grand Principal, Hants & IOW
“….I thoroughly enjoyed both the meeting and the company and food at the festive board. The excellent turn out of members and guests made the proceedings even more special. Please give my heartiest congratulations to your Grand Superintendent, James Sharpley together with David Hampton as Deputy and to the other Principals, wishing them another successful year ahead.”
Martyn P. Farrell, Deputy Grand Superintendent, Middlesex
And many more…………
We should all be very proud of our Chapters and Province and on behalf of the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent and the Executive, wish you another successful year in your Chapters in this Province of Happy Hertfordshire.
