JohnIlottCompanions, welcome to our re-vamped Royal Arch Web-site.

I am grateful to E Comp Graham Sutherland who set up the original site and to E Comp Jeff Bullock who took it a stage further. I am now even more grateful to E Comp John Burnapp, a very experienced IT professional, who has now agreed to carry on and re-vamp the site, including managing and updating the information on a more regular basis.

The Royal Arch Province of Hertfordshire is a very happy Order and I hope, from the information that will now be regularly seeing on our web-site, you will find something of interest and hopefully stimulate you to seek further information and involvement.

Any Craft mason of one months standing is eligible to join the Royal Arch, considered to be the completion of pure, antient freemasonry, and most Lodges in the Province now have a Royal Arch representative well able to give guidance and information about the Order and who will be very happy to explain what is involved. In addition there are explanatory leaflets available which give a basic outline to the Royal Arch which are available from lodge secretaries and the Provincial office.

I, or members of my Executive visit, all the Chapters in the Province on a regular basis and are encouraged by the apparent happiness and companionship that exists within them. We spread the message that the Royal Arch is to be enjoyed and impress upon the members that one of the best ways to encourage new members is to demonstrate how much we enjoy our membership.

A varied programme of social events is organised and these will be more readily advertised on these pages.

All masonry encourages brotherly love, relief and truth and I like to think that within this Royal Arch Province these precepts are combined with mutual happiness and companionship thereby promoting a masonic environment that members will find stimulating and satisfying.

I hope that you will find this re-vamped web-site worthwhile and please let us know if there is anything that you would like to see on it.

Thank you for visiting the site and if you are from another Province, or District overseas, then my fraternal greetings to you and should you ever be in Hertfordshire and would like to visit one of our Chapters then please let us know.

May we all continue to enjoy our membership of the Royal Arch and ensure that it flourishes.
