On Thursday 27th October 2005, Michael Gardiner PGStdB celebrated fifty years in the Royal Arch. He was exalted into Cecil Chapter no 449 in October 1955. Immediately after the Minutes, Michael was surprised by the entrance of the Provincial Executive into the Chapter to join him on this special occasion. Philip Lever, Provincial Scribe E, read a certificate commemorating Michael’s achievements. This certificate was then presented to Michael by the Grand Superintendent Alec Fuller, pictured right, together with a bottle of champagne and an engraved fruit bowl from Cecil Chapter. The exceptional evening ended with a first class Festive Board.
