The new Provincial Chapter tie is still available.
It is similar to the Lodge tie, except it has red diagonal stripes as opposed to blue.
It is an attractive item and can be purchased for 15 from any member of the Provincial Executive with the proceeds going to the Craft 2009 Festival.

Harpenden Chapter 4314 was host to the entire Provincial Executive at its January Installation meeting which fell on Burns Night. Scribe E Keith Gilbert, a Burns aficionado entertained at the festive board with an interesting history of Burns the freemason together with readings by Keith and by Gerry Greenland. Alec Fuller was presented with a bottle of single malt and not to be left out, John Ilott was presented with a miniature!

Gladsmuir Chapter 1385 was host to the entire Provincial Executive at the February installation meeting held at Cheshunt when the Provincial Scribe E Phil Lever was installed as MEZ.

Hooks Cross Chapter 8705 had a very successful meeting in December attended by 44 members and guests and two Companions were exalted into the Chapter. The Festive Board was a White Table attended by over 130 members and guests. Christmas Carols were conducted by the Directof of Ceremonies and a raffle raised 640 in addition to the alms collection which had raised in excess of 100.

Ravenscroft Chapter 2331 member Lionel Rusbridge who died in 1992, has been recognised by his local community by having a terrace of six houses in Baldock named after him, Rusbridge Court. The story reported in the Comet Newspaper in October 2005 told of his popularity in the local community. He was also a popular, enthusiastic and very loyal member of the Chapter.
