Installation meeting of the Stortford Chapter N0 409 at Sawbridgeworth Masonic Centre on 28th January, where E Comp Barry Pyle was invested as MEZ, E Comp Andy Howard invested as H, and Comp Victor Hunt as J. The investiture ceremony was enriched by a reading of the minutes book from 100 years ago!
It was noted in those minutes, that very substantial donations from the Chapter were made back then to the Masonic Boys School.
As can be seen from the picture, the team from Province was headed by the Deputy Grand Superintendent E Comp Robert Asser, together with the Second Grand Principal Ex Comp Peter Walters, Prov Asst Grand DC E Comp Neil Storey, Prov Grand Sword Bearer E Comp Paul Evans, the Prov Grand Standard Bearer E Comp Richard Bates, the Prov 1st Asst Grand Sojourner E Comp Stephen Kramer, and ProvGStwd E Comp Jim Hounsell.
A very convivial festive board ensued!
