On the 10th July, under blazing sunshine, 45 Royal Arch Masons and their guests competed in the Royal Arch Golf Day 2025 at Redbourn Golf Club. This was followed by a sumptuous dinner and Prize giving in the Clubhouse and was hosted by the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent David Hampton.

The winners on the day were as follows:

The Alec Fuller Trophy for the best singles score by a Royal Arch Mason was won by the Treasurer of the Hertfordshire Provincial Grand Stewards Chapter E Comp Ed Bottomley.

The Best Overall Score, which is open to all Hertfordshire Freemasons and their guests was won by the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies E Comp Mark Purtow.

Sydney Tuck Trophy for the best combined pairs score by Companions from a Hertfordshire Royal Arch Chapter was won by E Comp Keith Ratley and Comp Les Harrison of the Hooks Cross Chapter 8705.

Ian Clift Royal Arch Golf Memorial Trophy for the best score on par three holes by a Hertfordshire Royal Arch Mason was won by E Comp Keith Piggot Haggai or the Hertfordshire Provincial Grand Stewards Chapter.

The nearest the pin prizes were won by the Deputy Grand Superintendent Robert Asser and Nigel Fisher, a guest of E Comp Mehmet Adali.

The Royal Arch Golf Day will be held at Redbourn Golf Club on the 9th July 2026, so please make a noter in your diaries.
