On Tuesday 3rd March St Amphibalus in Jubilation Chapter No. 8831 held its Installation meeting at Ashwell House. The Third Provincial Grand Superintendent, E Comp Phil Masters, was in attendance with a number of Active provincial Officers. At the outset the Second Principal’s office was covered by the Chapter’s new representative of the Province, E Comp Brian Callum.

The Chapter was please to successfully ballot for and welcome a joining member, E Comp John Campbell, who was subsequently elected as Second Principal of the Chapter.

E Comp Peter Rushbrooke and E Comp John Campbell were installed as First Principal and Second Principal, by induction, respectively. E Comp Gary Brown was proclaimed as Third Principal for a further year. E Comp Steve Kramer undertook parts of the installation including covering First Principal until the office was filled and was assisted by guest E Comp Gary Sereno.

The explanation of the Robes and Sceptres were undertaken by E Comp Campbell, E Comp Rushbrook and E Comp Kramer. E Comp Masters commented on how the three Principals had a total 66 years Royal
Arch Experience between them.

The Chapter successfully balloted for M E Comp David Hampton, Provincial Grand Superintendent, as an Honorary Member of the Chapter.

It was understood that there were candidates for Exaltation in the pipeline.

Clearly a Chapter that has a bright future.
