Companions,

The Archway seminars were completed in April, with the assistance of the Masonic Centres at Cheshunt, St Albans and Letchworth, and Chapters are starting to introduce the Chapter Review Tool. This self-help tool is an ideal way to engage with members, assist in the growth and development of the Chapter and thereby understanding the challenges that your Chapter is currently facing. Archway provides examples and suggestions for typical issues that all Chapters come up against at some time and is an ideal review tool for now and in the future.

Assistance with setting up and running Archway, and further information for Chapters who were unable to attend one of the seminars, can be provided. A Google Form version of the Chapter Review Tool is also available on request. Additional presentations of the Archway seminar can be arranged for Chapters, or groups, either in a Chapter meeting or at your local Centre.

Finding prospective members is the challenge for all of us. A talk entitled ‘Royal Arch – The Next Step’, designed for Craft Masons with an interest in the Royal Arch, can be delivered in Lodge or Chapter meetings. Chapters and Lodge Royal Arch Representatives who would like more information on arranging a presentation of this talk are encouraged to get in touch.

The Chapter Exaltee Scheme is now under way and Scribe E’s are asked to provide a copy of the summons for each meeting, together with dining information and details of any talks, lectures or events the Chapter is holding. The Summons and information will be distributed to all Chapters in the Province so your new Exaltee has the choice of attending an upcoming Exaltation ceremony and with a view to encouraging visiting generally.

Please contact: membership@herts-chapter.org.uk for details of any of the above.
