From Friday 14th to Sunday 16th, Royal Arch Companions—joined by their friends and families—gathered at the Voco Spires Hotel in Oxford for the much-anticipated Royal Arch Social Weekender.
The weekend began in style on Friday evening as guests enjoyed a sumptuous buffet prepared by the hotel’s culinary team. Laughter quickly filled the room during the lively table quiz, where teams battled for bragging rights, and the fun continued with a spirited round of “roll the lemon”, with a bottle of champagne awaiting the triumphant winner.
Saturday offered a more leisurely pace, giving attendees ample time to explore the historic city of Oxford. Many took the opportunity to wander through its iconic colleges, browse the shops, or simply enjoy the riverside scenery before returning to the hotel. In the evening, everyone reconvened for a delightful dinner, followed by a superb disco that kept the dance floor full until midnight.
The atmosphere throughout the entire weekend was warm, welcoming, and filled with camaraderie. In total, 109 guests attended—and judging by the smiles, laughter, and shared memories, a wonderful time was had by all.
