On Thursday 24th September Dacre Chapter No. 2086 were able to meet at The Cloisters in a COVID secure environment. Although small in number, they were great in heart!
With a later start time of 7pm the Companions were able to enjoy a socially-distanced and safe drink in the bar beforehand, talk through some of the alterations of the ritual required and making sure all those present were comfortable and happy.
The Chapter was opened with great enjoyment, the business conducted and the Chapter closed all in under 15 minutes. The Companions then returned to the bar where facilities had been prepared to log-in to a prearranged Zoom call with those members who, on this occasion, were unable to attend in person. A great conversation was had, members were engaged and, the most important thing, they all had a great time.
