At the Rickmansworth RA Chapter meeting at Watford on 14 September, the ME Grand Superintendent, Jim Sharpley visited to present his predecessor E Comp John Ilott with his 50 year certificate of service to the Royal Arch. The MEGS was very glowing in his comments on the significant contribution John had made to the Royal Arch in general, and the Province specifically, for many years.
It was good to see John at a meeting of Rickmansworth Chapter again as he has had several medical problems preventing his attending our meetings and within the Province for a number of years. After the meeting he advised it had been good to be amongst friends and Companions again, although he did suffer a bit the next day. We all hope to see him out & about in the Province again in the coming months.
